select ambient works 85-92 is probably the nicest album of his discography. it feels like richard didn't really go with the idea of "ambient". like on his second album selected ambient works 2. i really enjoy both of the albums but the saw1 just sweeps the table with the melodic beats and really nice atmosphere, but also on the other hand it doesen't really classify as "ambient" but i think that the term is pretty loose nowadays. I would like to say that it is a shame that some of his greatest music is not available on spotify and usually only on soundcloud or youtube with the addition that they don't have that high of audio quality.Also whoever likes saw1 automatically has a huge dih.
